Valley Vet 1K/3K Fun Run & 5K/10K Honor Run/Walk
The Valley Vet 5K/10K Honor Run/Walk consist of a 6.2-mile journey along scenic Suisun Waterfront past breathtaking vistas of the Suisun Wetlands. Runners make their way to the lighthouse to retrace their steps back to the finish line festivities on Marina Waterfront.
The Course will be managed at a 15 minute per mile pace. Strollers and pets are not allowed on either the 5K or 10K course. To ensure that roads reopen to vehicular traffic at the scheduled times, the course time limits will be STRICTLY ENFORCED. Participants must maintain a pace faster than the course time limits in order to complete the race on closed city streets. A cut-off location will be enforced on the course; runners or walkers who do not reach the cut-off location by this time will be stopped. If at any time a participant’s pace falls below the course time limit, they have the option to Increase their pace to stay within the event minimum pace or stop. All course time limits begin when the last participant crosses the start line.
Schedule
7:00 AM– Registration and packet pick-up
7:30 AM – Warm-up by Shari Romo / National Anthem
8:00AM – 10K Start (10K Participants who arrive after 7:45am will not be allowed to start the race with an official time.)
8:30 AM – 5K Start (5K Participants who arrive after 8:5am will not be allowed to start the race with an official time.)
9:00 AM – 1K/3K Start (Participants must complete route no later than 9:45am)
10:30 AM – Awards Ceremony

Restrooms are available in the staging area only.
Aid Stations
Aid will be provided at the start, finish and at two course aid stations located near miles 2 & 4.
